Today we talked about the Community Supported Agriculture that we have founded to protect our right to clean and real food and to be in solidarity with the farmers who are producing that food for us without harming the nature. Founding Community Supported Agriculture is only one way of defending the natural life. At the moment we are facing difficult situations under different circumstances that we have to fight to save the natural life all around the world.
Therefore, the violence that is used by the company and state in the USA to the nice people in the North Dakota who are protecting the land, right to water and life of all living beings with their dances, prayers and body. Different countries, but same stories! We – as the people in Turkey – also have been fighting all together for many years with those who are trying to fade our future with the nonsense lies of energy independency and new jobs. For example, we tried to stop the evil hydropower plants in Loç and Alakır or tried to stop the coal power plants in Yırca and Gerze, sometimes we tried to protect our water from mine companies in Artvin Cerattepe or our food in the Roma and Yedikule Gardens. We know and feel your pain, your shock and your determination in our hearts. No matter what is the level of violence; let our and your energy – that is sometimes rooted from water, sometimes from the olives, sometimes the wild buffalos that suddenly comes to visit – come together. We hope that the love we are sending you today from Turkey will grow the seeds of goodness and peace in the world!
